The Challange

Restaurant operators routinely generate vast amounts of raw operational data across multiple branches, yet struggle to transform it into actionable strategy. The client required a platform capable of securely ingesting daily metrics, instantly calculating advanced hospitality KPIs, and running complex benchmarking analyses against specified competitor sets (Compsets)—all while presenting highly visual, digestible metrics to both branch managers and global administrators.

Mind Square developed a robust, data-driven analytics suite featuring:

  • Advanced Hospitality Analytics Engine: Engineered a specialized data pipeline to automatically clean, categorize, and transform daily inputs into mission-critical industry metrics:

    • RevPAS (Revenue Per Available Seat Hour)

    • Occ% (Occupancy Percentage)

    • AC (Average Check / Cover)

    • Market Indices (MPI, ACI, RGI for competitive tracking)

  • Dynamic Compset Benchmarking: Built an interactive comparison module allowing users to measure their own performance against customized local competitor benchmarks (Compset Min/Max/Average metrics) with historical delta tracking.

  • Automated Intelligence Delivery: Developed a robust report-scheduling engine that compiles customized PDFs based on cuisine type, frequency, and custom date filters, routing them directly to stakeholders’ inboxes.

  • Granular Multi-Role Dashboards: Implemented secure, multi-tier access control separating administrative functions (subscription packages, client accounts, cash flow, and global brand health) from front-end dining operators (managers, receptionists).
